Will B1 tell me if I will pass?
No. Nobody can, except the exam. B1 shows an estimate based on your own answers and your practice, so you can see which skill to work on. Treat it as a guide, not a prediction.
Does passing a B1 exam get me a visa or citizenship?
B1 cannot answer that and makes no promise about it. Language level is usually one requirement among several, rules change, and only the authority handling your application decides. Check the official rules for your own case.
Does B1 teach me the language?
No. It organises your preparation: what to practise, when, and how you are doing. Use it alongside your course, teacher, textbook or app.
Are the statements from the official level descriptions?
No. Every statement, activity and speaking prompt is written by us in plain English. They are our own judgement of everyday B1 tasks.
What happens to my data?
It is saved in your browser’s local storage on this device only. If you clear your browser data, it is gone, so export a backup now and then.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. There is no paid tier.
