Privacy note · 13 October 2026
Your data stays with you.
B1 has no accounts and no server that stores your data. This note explains exactly what happens to what you enter.
What is stored, and where
Your exam choice and date, your self-check answers, your practice log and your progress snapshots are saved in your browser’s local storage, on this device only, under the key b1.readiness.v1. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.
Speaking recordings
If you choose to record a speaking drill, your browser asks for microphone permission. The recording is kept in memory on this page only so you can play it back. It is never uploaded and never saved; it is gone when you leave or reload the page.
Cookies, analytics, ads
None. The site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or trackers. A strict Content Security Policy only allows files from this site.
Backups and deleting your data
On the planner’s Data page you can export everything as a JSON file, import it again, or delete all B1 data from this device. Clearing your browser’s site data also deletes it.
Hosting
Whoever hosts this site may keep standard server access logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security. B1 itself adds nothing to them.
